Dr. Heldo Gomez, M.D. is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon who has been in practice in Palm Beach County since 1991. Dr. Gomez received his undergraduate degree and Medical degree from the University of Miami. Dr. Gomez did his neuro-surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland Ohio. Dr. Gomez also completed a Neuro-Trauma fellowship and is board certified in neurological surgery.
Dr. Gomez’s interests are in general neurosurgical diseases including the operative management of simple and complex spine pathology. His practice specializes in spinal disorders of the cervical and lumbar spine. Dr. Gomez’s goal is to provide high-quality care with personal attention to the patient’s questions and concerns.
Dr. Gomez is on staff at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. He was Chief of Staff at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center from 2005 to 2007. He is also on staff at SurgCenter of Palm Beach Gardens, Central Palm Beach Surgery Center, Lake Worth Surgery Center and Miami Surgery Center. Dr. Gomez is fluent in Spanish and English.
In his spare time Dr. Gomez enjoys following Nascar and also enjoys cooking for his friends and family.
Dr. Gomez and office staff are amazing. Dr. Gomez saw me after years of misery with the orthopedic Dr’s.treatments. He did surgery to repair my lumbar spine and Iam better than new. Dr. Gomez also repaired my husbands cervical spine that allowed him to move freely and painlessly. His office is pristine, and he is always on time. I would recommend Dr. Gomez to anyone .
